Direct Primary Care
What is DPC?
Direct primary care (DPC) is a healthcare model where you pay a flat monthly or annual membership fee directly to a primary care provider for your basic medical care, without using traditional health insurance for those services. It’s a system that reduces hassle and increases the speed and quality of care for our patients.
How Does
DPC Work?
-
You pay the practice a regular fee, and in return you get access to primary care services (like check-ups, consultations, management of chronic conditions, and often phone/text/virtual access) without copays or insurance billing.
-
DPC providers don’t submit claims to third-party insurers for the services covered by your membership — the payment goes straight from you to the provider.
-
Because DPC providers typically care for fewer patients, they often offer longer visits, same-day/next-day appointments, and more direct communication.
-
DPC usually covers everyday primary care but not hospitalizations, major procedures, or specialty care — so many patients keep a high-deductible insurance plan for those needs.
Simplified Access, Attentive Care
In short, DPC is like a healthcare membership that aims to simplify access to your primary care doctor and reduce administrative hassles.
Patients Feel the Difference
"I’m not just a number or another patient in a giant practice. I can easily get same day appointments and fast responses to my email or text questions, often times within minutes of me sending them.”
